Rayna is the first in her family to proudly embrace her Proximian heritage. Her grandfather migrated to the planet as a small child. His parents raised him to uphold their family’s prestigious titles and, above all, to continue growing the family’s fortune. Contrary to Rayna’s desire for adventure, her father’s dream leans more towards the expansion of the family business dealing on Earth. Rayna’s earliest memories involved her father reminiscing about the lavish lifestyle their ancestors had on Earth. The tremendous influence they wielded and the significantly better lives his parents had in those days.

Life aboard the BioStat had been a turbulent ride for Rayna, not at all what her father had envisioned. Initially, the novelty was exhilarating, but the constraints of the cramped living quarters had worn her down. Through a small portal, she once again found herself mesmerised, counting the interconnected containers passing by in an endless procession. They weaved away from the asteroid, carrying their precious minerals. In a video relay to her father, who had spent all his life on Proxima, she endeavoured to capture the essence of life on a BioStat.
